I must have missed church the day Jesus recanted that whole silly tossing of the money lenders out of the temple. He must have welcomed them back in with low, low rates on home loans. Here's an xtian on xtian greed at godweb. Xtian profiteering is an easy target - even a basic knowledge of dogma identifies it as clear hypocrisy. But this is America, where profit is the best ever and critical thought is just an afterthought (or perhaps dismissed as doubt).
Better yet is the Aryan family served in a gloppy stew of hegemony. Sure they couldn't get whiter - that's a given subtext in popular xtian culture. But look how young they are - they could be under 30. Did they get sinfully knocked up and faith-forced to get married? Did their parent's marry them off at puberty? Are they from Colorado City?
That's just assuming their married - a closer look reveals that the dood is without a wedding band. Scandal! Sure he could have just taken it off while he was doing manly home repairs, but what if this couple is in fact living in sin? Did he take it off to go cruising for tricks in the local truck stop? I've got too many questions to be able to trust these so called xtian lenders... though I do want to get all Tyra Banks nosy about their business.
Speaking of Tyra Banks, she just gained lots of respect points in my book for standing up for normal women everywhere when she was attacked for putting on weight. Fat women (not that Tyra is one) of the world, unite!
