Bill O'Reilly, on the joy of the xmas season:
"Every company in America should be on its knees thanking Jesus for being born. Without Christmas, most American businesses would be far less profitable. More than enough reason for business to be screaming 'Merry Christmas.' But many will not. They're afraid of being attacked by secular forces. It is now time to draw the line, ladies and gentlemen. We must decide whether we value our heritage or not."
a) I don't know about you, but I'm not too worried about xmas heritage being valued. Xmas schlock appeared in mid October, so I don't think the holiday will be forgotten any time soon.
b) If Jesus were god, and came to the earth to die for our sins, should we really thank him for the profitability of consumerist American xmas?
c) Wait, Christmas is being attacked somehow? Huh?
