"Gas Prices Make Mass Transit More Attractive"
True, but how are you going to break American's addiction to horsepower? Even with gas prices staying well above $2 it seems like every company is introducing new and bigger models. Jeep is coming out with what looks like a seven passenger Cherokee, Subaru is also planning a seven person model. Hummers seem to be multiplying like rabbits on crack. All the Asian automakers have introduced full size pickups and SUVs. Seems the only hope is that all these new model suck up all the gas quicker so that we are forced into greener alternatives.
